Written Confession: The Neighbor in the Hallway
The following written confession was submitted via email:
I saw the woman who used to live in the flat below standing in my hallway when I was around 4 or 5. She used to come up to our flat to escape her abusive husband (he also used to terrorise my mother years after this he had a knife to her throat in front of me one time) . I remember she waved at me and went to her left which was towards the front door yet I heard no door closing it's like she just went through it. But when I said to my mother "the lady downstairs said hello to me" my mother and her friend went white as she had hung herself months before..
I still have recurring dreams about it and there's no logical way of explaining it. I've read about children being able to experience the paranormal because they've not been indoctrinated into thinking these things don't exist in science or whatever.
I've also had dreams of abductions that felt real, I remember one that I got sent back down through a giant tube and as I hit the bed I swear my eyes never shut and I was back in my room.
