In Episode 281: The Secret Scroll, we are joined by Mark, who describes living in a house full of such unique, bizarre activity that it left me stunned. Amongst the many things he shares with us, he talks about seeing two entities enter his room at night, seemingly on a mission to hide an ancient-looking scroll in the wall. Mark also shares one of the his scariest experiences, when he was physically assaulted by a demon entity and came eye to eye with a demonic dog-type creature that resembled a “Terror Dog” from the movie Ghostbusters!

In Episode 280: The Pale Creature of the Woods, we are joined by Reese. He and I recorded this interview a long time ago, but waited to release it because Reese was concerned that some of the activity he describes would escalate if he talked with me about it. After we recorded, his fears came true. We paused the release of the interview until now, and the story you will hear is the original conversation that stirred unwanted things up again, as Reese tells us about his hatman haunting and the tall, pale-skinned, malnourished humanoid creature of the woods that made its way into his house!

In Episode 279: Diamonds In the Sky, we talk with Ryan, who recounts his amazing UFO sightings. Ryan has seen multiple UFOs and two of them were extremely close, revealing plenty of detail. The closest one he saw was in North Carolina at the end of 2016, and the second was in New York in December 2017. Ryan describes seeing diamond-shaped crafts that were either being chased or escorted by helicopters. After you hear what he has to say, decide for yourself what those choppers were up to that night!

In Episode 278: Bigfoot In Washington State, we talk bigfoot with our guest Chris. Chris was once on a camping trip with his friend in Washington State, when they managed to drum up the attention of a bigfoot. Their encounter turned into a multi-day ordeal, with the creature even coming into their camp! Chris shares his experience with us, including what it looked like and how it moved. Following his bigfoot experience, Chris also tells us about his brief but recurring sightings of a shadow figure in his parents’ home.

In Episode 277: Party In The Basement, we talk with Josette about her bizarre experiences in the house where she grew up. Her first recollections are that she had “friends” in this house that only she could see. As she got older, strange things would happen, like doors opening, lights turning on and off, and the sound of something walking around in the house. After she eventually moved out, Josette started having unusual dreams in which people who had died came to her with messages they wanted her to relay to someone still among the living.

Welcome to the first Monthly Wrap-Up show with Jack Merkel! This is a new show that we’ll be sharing once a month, every month, to give you a slice of each month’s episodes. In this very first episode, we’ll be running through all of September’s shows, as well as the trailers for our member shows. This endeavor took a lot of effort, especially considering I had to kick Tony out of the studio, so enjoy the show!

On Episode 276: When Angels Sing, we talk with guest Michelle about some amazing stories she wants to share. Her experiences range from seeing apparitions; hearing and feeling things she could not see or explain; nightmares; and sleep paralysis. While talking with her, something comes through on the audio that sounds like an explosion of power in a loudspeaker. Michelle and I both hear the noise and it stops us in our tracks! She also describes an occasion when she was in a worship service and heard an angelic voice singing along with the music. Her experience reminds me of a recording of musician Jason Upton performing in concert - during his performance, an angel was seen on stage, and its voice was recorded singing along with him - so I play that angelic audio on today's show!

In Episode 275: The Ringwraith Chased My Friend, we talk with guest Josh, who has been a paranormal investigator in Cecil County, Maryland. Josh has had many paranormal experiences in his life, which prompted him to take up investigation. In one of those instances, he and his friends were playing as kids when a loose ball rolled into a neighboring church parking lot; when one of Josh’s friends went to retrieve it, they all saw what can only be described as the “ringwraith” from ‘The Lord of the Rings’! In addition to paranormal experiences, Josh also has a Bigfoot report posted on the BFRO site.

In Episode 274: Her Voice Was Inhuman, we have a two-part show featuring interviews with Mark and Josh. First, Mark shares the progression of a demonic possession involving his sister-in-law, describing how she spoke in other voices and contorted her body in ways that were not human. Then we talk with Josh, who is a sheriff’s deputy, about a vey unsettling call he responded to that made his hair stand on end!

On Episode 273: That’s Not Me. SHOOT IT! we talk to Austin, a forest ranger who has had experiences with bigfoot – and he is not the only one in his family who has witnessed these creatures! His family’s bigfoot stories begin when his dad was camping with a friend and heard something moving around their campsite. At first, he thought it was his friend... until the friend yelled, “That’s not me. SHOOT IT!” And that’s just the beginning of what Austin shares with us!

In Episode 272: The Spirit Observer, guest Wes shares with us about different entities he has seen throughout his life. These entities do not seem specific to one particular place or event - Wes is a frequent traveler and has seen things appear in many different places. In this episode, we discuss whether he is being followed by supernatural entities or if he can see things that most other people cannot. Some people seem to have the preternatural ability to perceive the spirit world around them, and Wes may just be one of those people!

On Episode 271: Bigfoot Jumped Into My Life, we talk with Matthew who, at a very young age, literally had a bigfoot jump in front of him! From that point on, he and bigfoot had ongoing run-ins, including one night when he found himself face-to-face with one next to his bed! From Matthew’s first encounter, it seems like bigfoot are just giant creatures running around the woods. But as he grew older, he spent time learning more about these creatures, and his continued experiences make one wonder if there is something more to bigfoot than meets the eye.

In Episode 270: The Patients Are Possessed, we talk to our guest Will, a clinical supervisor at a treatment facility. Will shares some of the experiences he has had with his patients that range from possession to shared visual experiences of the paranormal. He also talks with us about his bigfoot experience, UFOs, and the book he wrote, "Deconstructing A Paradigm: A Treatise For The Unbelievable."

On Episode 269: Mimicking Spirits, guest Chad tells us about his childhood experiences with mimicking spirits. On one occasion, he encountered something portraying the exact likeness of his sister, minutes before his real sister actually walked into the room. At another time, he and his best friend were playing soccer when they saw a shadow entity that scared them both senseless. Chad also shares how later as an adult, one of his customers seemed to vanish without a trace!

In Episode 268: The Family Witch, we are joined by Marlene who shares her family's experiences with a witch. It began when Marlene's uncle needed to visit "Don Julia," a rumored witch in Mexico. As he approached the dwelling of the witch, he saw a giant black and gray vulture glide off the roof, and turn into a tiny old lady! As Marlene shares her family’s stories, you‘ll notice that they are very similar to Abe's experiences from Episode 13: A Witch Doctor’s Request! The striking resemblance will give you a strange reality check, knowing that these practices appear to be more common than one might think!

On Episode 267: The Dead Doll Hiker and D.C. Sniper, we have Amy joining us to share two stories that are equally bizarre! Her first experience includes a haunting story from the Appalachian Trail, in western Maryland, where she and her friends seem to have encountered a walking, talking dead man! Dressed in a creepy ensemble, it was not until later that Amy realized the man was no longer, in fact, alive. She also shares her personal run-in with the infamous “D.C. Sniper”, who almost ran her over with his car before he was ultimately arrested, tried, and put to death. Finally, we also share a new potentially prophetic dream from Pastor Dana Coverstone, who joined us on Episode 252: Prophetic Dreams for 2020.

In Episode 266: Hell, Heaven and Back we speak Jason and Amy who are married and went through and experience that most people can't imagine, fathom, or even want to spend much time contemplating. Jason has congenital adrenal hyperplasia and almost died several times as a child from it. On December 9, 2016, Jason and his wife had some take out food that triggered his medical issues, and Jason ended up dying. He was dead for over 30 minutes and then miraculously came back to life! In those 30 plus minutes, Jason went to hell, heaven, and now he's back to tell us all what he saw on the other side of this life!

On Episode 265: The Tennessee Goatman, we speak with Mike about a chance encounter he and his ex-wife had with a half-man, half-goat entity! He also shares an interesting bigfoot experience in which he and his mother where looking in the same direction, but only his mother actually saw the creature. The topic of bigfoot takes us down a rabbit trail about my thoughts on bigfoot research, which have helped shape my approach for hosting The Confessionals!

In Episode 264: I Saw Death, Curtis joins us to share his experiences with the Grim Reaper. He recalls seeing jet black smoke form next to his bed, and then a mysterious hooded figure appeared from within the smoke. Curtis details this experience, and others, with the same entity. He also shares a story of missing time from when he was young and another child - who seemed just “different” - led him away. Eight hours later, he returned without any recollection of where he had been.

On Episode 263: The Visitors in Sleep Paralysis, we have a double interview episode! First, we have Rick joining us to share his UFO encounter in Mobile, Alabama. Following his story, we bring on Savannah who details her dramatic experiences in sleep paralysis. During her first experience with sleep paralysis, Savannah recalls a guttural voice whispering in her ear, “I’m going to take care of you.” From that point on, sleep paralysis has been very consistent in her life - she has seen figures while paralyzed and even seems to have had an “Inception”-like paralysis experience.
