On July 20th & 21st, The Confessionals Podcast attended Pennhurst Asylum ParaCon 2019 in Spring, City, Pennsylvania! During what became the hottest weekend of the year in PA (so far), paranormal enthusiasts, vendors, and special guests gathered at the legendary haunted hospital complex of Pennhurst Asylum for historical tours, investigations, lectures, and much more! We get quite a stack of emails in The Confessionals’ inbox, and one of the questions we’re asked most frequently is, “What episodes are featured in your show’s intro?!” From the episode with the giant in the cave, to the guy who slithered over the floor, to the long bony fingers curling under the door, listeners are intrigued by the episode excerpts featured in the show’s opening montage! So after many inquiries, it finally occurred to us to bring those intriguing episodes to you all in one place!

I’m at work as I post this, but I got two notifications and I checked the live feed. The two captures was the door opening and shutting two times and then the live feed shortly after shows a couple of orbs.

You read that right: today’s creature feature Friday is Stick Men. Though reports are rare, people around the world have been glimpsing black, two-dimensional stick men that resemble cartoon stick figures. These bizarre sightings sound almost absurd - how could a stick figure drawing come to life? - but are growing in prevalence. So back in 2013, I lived in Kent, WA, a suburb of Seattle. I lived there with my two high school buddies (M & R) from UT and they were getting ready to move back home while I was planning to move into another apartment in the area. R and I had always been into paranormal activities, including exploring houses which were formerly scenes of horrific incidents or doing ouija boards in known haunted areas. M had grown up Mormon, and although he is no longer, "f***ing with the devil" as he called it, was still out of his fun time wheelhouse.

The following written confession was originally shared online: I had the strangest experience a few weeks back at my local seven eleven early in the morning . I and my fiancé are both in our car headed to 7-11 to get the usual prerequisites that the morning requires .. caffeine, donut, etc .. We pull into the parking lot and park in the front of the store and we are about to get out when we look to the car next to us . The driver is normal enough , your average looking twenty something Caucasian female but sitting next to her was something quite odd ….
