BLOG: 10 More Creepy Things People Found in Their Homes
Many of us have been spending a lot more time in our homes lately, and prolonged cabin fever has us pondering what new inside activities we can come up with next. If you’ve already cycled through deep-cleaning, home renovations, and furniture rearranging like we have, take another internet break and check out some unfortunate discoveries people have found in their own homes while doing the same activities!
Last year we shared 10 Creepy Things People Found in Their Homes, and now we’ve got 10 More Creepy Things People Found in Their Homes to creep you out from the comfort of your couch! Wonder what all of us have hidden in our own houses, unbeknownst to us…. ? 🤔
1) A grim discovery: The last thing you want to encounter in life is the grim reaper. Unfortunately, it’s inevitable—none of us are making it out of here alive, after all—but that doesn’t mean we’re any less frightened to find him in our attic. It even looks like it’s about to move! Eek!
2) Here lies Judith… in the attic: Gravestones do not belong in attics… or anywhere in your house, for that matter. Was this one even used? If not, why was it just hanging around in the attic? Just in case, maybe? Perhaps it was a halloween decoration, but it doesn’t really look like one…Rest in peace, Judith.
3) Little house of horrors: If this isn’t a Halloween decoration, well… let’s just say we really hope this is a Halloween decoration. It looks like it crawled out of a sewer, and it’s still trying to make its escape. It also seems to have some kind of rubber glove on its right hand. Who knows why.
4) The former owner left behind something pretty personal: If you ever find a mummified human hand in your home, don’t wait to investigate further; just go ahead and run away immediately. Especially if the hand is severed, and it still has an old ring on one of its fingers. Yeah, this is definitely not a good sign in the least.
5) Not your average playroom: Remember Annabelle, the possessed doll that changed everyone’s perception about it. But before that, it was Chuckie who gave a different meaning to it. A man when went inside his home’s long-locked basement, he found an odd doll arrangement inside it. It could be a playtime area of a little girl. Or these dolls can be the ones who get alive at night only to sacrifice humans to Satan.
6) When a missile veers very, very off-course : Linda DeForest was cleaning the basement of her house when she stumbled upon something. The penny dropped and she realized what was it she rushed to her husband and told him about his discovery. The couple sprinted back to the basement and the husband had his eyes wide open when he saw that massive, green torpedo placed in their basement. The couple immediately informed an army veteran about it who told them that it might be a mortar or an anti-tank weapon. To make it worse the machine was live.
7) It’s totally normal for a house to have a secret attic cell with a grated door that only locks from the outside… right? New homeowners while exploring their new house spotted a small door placed at the end point of their attic. The door barely reached a height of four feet. The mystery began to unfold when they opened it. The door led to a small room that had some shells, small cot and a metal grate designed over the door’s window. What even more weird was that the door could be locked from outside only. Clearly, the tiny and suffocating room was used for holding someone captive.
8) Nope, and I really hope I never do: A Reddit user had his heart in his mouth when he came across a spooky picture that had a line written beneath it “Do you see him?” The man could not understand that and that is why he put the click of the picture on his Reddit account. The user though mentioned the outline of a house he figured. However, there was no human figure in the picture. Whoever has done this must be a possessed or prankster.
9) Was this the inspiration for The Ring? Here is another creepy finding by a homeowner! The owner discovered a strange hole that was covered by a wooden board. The wooden board was supported by cinder blocks that gave way to more confusions. It is important to point out that the hole was very deep and surprisingly it did not go anywhere. There was no significant end of it. The one who made the discovery said that the hole was filled with water.
10) It may as well say, “Don’t open, dead inside”: Here is one of the creepiest discovery ever to be made in one’s house. A gate with a spooky message written on it! The message itself is enough to ward off the intruders. What do you think could be inside the door that the message warns against. The man who found the door did what anyone would do. He did not open the door.
