Written Confession: Bizarre UFOs and UAPs in the South
The following written confession was submitted via email:
2015 we were at my youngest daughter’s soccer game and me and my oldest daughter saw a teardrop shaped object coming in from right to left right above the tree tops around 50 feet away from us. It was a sunny clear day, the object had no seams or bolts on it that would indicate it was man made and flames coming off the end of it. The sighting lasted about 8 seconds and it made no noise. I was watching it in disbelief, trying to make since of what I saw. My attention was brought back to my daughter game and when I looked back it was gone. My oldest daughter and I said ‘what was that’ at the same time. It was, guessing, to be about 5 to 6 feet long and maybe 4 to 5 feet wide.
Another experience we had was the following year, we were on our way back home from visiting my sister on a stretch of highway in southern Alabama. It was 9:30 at night and the area had no lights off the highway, but I noticed a small light to my right ‘about my 1:30’, then all of a sudden it rushed to our car and took the form of the compass Star with smaller points between the big ones. Just guessing the size was 7 feet long and about 4 1/2 foot wide. It was the whitest brightest light but didn’t hurt my eyes. All I could think was that we were going to be abducted and I said a quick prayer ‘oh Lord no’! When I said that in my head it disappeared. The kids were watching a movie in the back of the car and threw off their headphones and yelled ‘what was that’? I have heard from a Alabama history and mystery site that I’m on Facebook that that stretch of highway was cursed by the native Americans when they were removed by the government and many strange things happen there like people seeing a giant Indian on the side of the road.
My next experience happened three to four years ago when I was taking my mom back to her assisted living home after a visit to the hospital. It was 4:30 in the morning and I came around my car to help my mom out when I noticed something coming over the roof of the assisted living building. The only way to describe it was it it looked like hot coals surrounding a baseball sized black nothing and it disappeared before my eyes, it was about 10 feet above me. Have you heard of things like this? I don’t know if they’re what you call ufos or what?
