BLOG: 14 Bizarre Photos Reportedly Taken Near Skinwalker Ranch
Possibly one of the most infamous landmarks for paranormal activity in North America is the Skinwalker Ranch in Utah! So called for the skinwalkers of Navajo legend - malevolent entities or witches with the ability to shapeshift into animals and humans - the ranch has been the site of unexplained phenomena for decades.
Skinwalker Ranch, also known as Sherman Ranch, began to achieve notoriety in 1996 when the Sherman family revealed strange happenings around the property - although bizarre events in the area, like UFO sightings and cattle mutilations, had been occurring for much longer. From 1996 to present day, Skinwalker Ranch has been the subject of multiple documentaries, books, and research projects. The ranch’s former residents, visitors, and investigators have reported all kinds of strange accounts on the property, including sightings of UFOs and orbs; large, wolflike creatures that appear to be bulletproof; animal mutilations; interdimensional portals; dark bigfoot-sized entities; and the legendary skinwalkers, among many other stories of high strangeness! After Adamantium Holdings, a shell corporation of unknown origin, purchased the property in 2016 all public access to Skinwalker Ranch was closed.
But restricting the property to the public has not stopped the weird activities in the area! In The Confessionals Episode 202: Skinwalker Ranch, Ryan, researcher and owner of a property that neighbors Skinwalker Ranch, details his own experiences living in “shapeshifter territory” including portal sightings, a close interaction with a skinwalker, witnessing a black sentient mist, and even more unexplained events that seem to happen with regular frequency. The photos, which were all reportedly taken on or near Skinwalker Ranch, depict just how diverse and mysterious the paranormal activity in the area is said to be.
