The Confessionals Membership Terms & Conditions

MONTHLY MEMBERS: Monthly member cost is $7 per month charged on the 1st of every month. The initial subscription charge will be pro-rated based on the date the member subscribes if the subscription occurs after the 1st of the month. Following initial sign-up, monthly memberships will be charged $7 (plus applicable tax) on the 1st of every month, recurring until the member cancels their account through the member website​ or requests their account to be canceled by emailing contact@theconfessionalspodcast.com.

ANNUAL MEMBERS: Annual member cost is $70 per year charged on the 1st of January every year. The initial subscription charge will be pro-rated based on the date the member subscribes if the subscription occurs after the 1st of January. Following initial sign-up, annual memberships will be charged $70 (plus any applicable tax) on the first of every year, recurring until the member cancels their account through the member website​ or requests their account to be canceled by emailing contact@theconfessionalspodcast.com.

EXCLUSIVITY: By subscribing as a member, members agree to keep content from the member website and The Confessionals app private at all times, and will not share member shows, ad-free episodes, Overtime episodes, videos, coupon codes, app content, and other protected member-only material with any other sites or parties.

Members will have access to the member portal of The Confessionals Podcast website. Member benefits include one fully produced episode every week (in addition to the weekly public episode); access to The Confessionals Podcast member app; chat rooms, groups, direct messaging, profile pages, video episodes, and more on the member app; ad-free public episodes available on The Confessionals app; Overtime segments featuring extended interviews with public episode guests; and additional bonus content when available.

A membership purchased through The Confessionals website is a separate program from a YouTube membership for The Confessionals. They are not interchangeable. Login details for the website and app will not provide YouTube member access, and vice versa.

PAYMENT: Credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal debit cards can be used as means of payment. (At this time our site does not support payments through Paypal directly.) If an initial charge fails to be processed on the 1st of the month (or 1st of the year for annual members), The Confessionals payment system will automatically attempt to process the payment 2 more times until a successful payment is processed. If a successful payment has not been processed by the 15th of the month, the membership will be automatically canceled. (Members can re-subscribe at any time by updating their payment information on the member website.) The member will also receive 3 automated reminder emails regarding a payment due. Payments and payment information are automatically processed, maintained, and protected through Stripe.

EPISODE PLAY: Member episodes, ad-free public episodes, and Overtime segments can be accessed on The Confessionals website via the member portal or through The Confessionals Podcast app, available through Apple and Google Play. For privacy and content protection, episodes are not able to be downloaded from the website for offline listening and private RSS feeds are not available at this time. The Confessionals app does allow episodes to be downloaded to the app itself for offline play.

THE CONFESSIONALS PODCAST APP: To install The Confessionals Podcast app, please search The Confessionals in your app store and download the app. To log in:

1. Open the app.
2. Click “Login with Membership Account.”
3. Use the same username and password you used to sign up on our website.

The Confessionals Podcast app offers member episodes, videos, direct messaging, groups, group chats, profile pages, a member newsfeed, and more.

CANCELATION: Members may cancel their membership at any time after any outstanding payments have been made current, and will not be charged the recurring fee for the next month/year if cancelation occurs before the next payment date.

There are 2 ways to cancel a membership:

OPTION 1#: Cancel directly through the member website by:

1. Logging in at theconfessionalspodcast.com/member-login.

2. Clicking Your Account.

3. Clicking on CANCEL MEMBERSHIP.

Members will receive a cancelation confirmation email at the end of the billing period when they have successfully completed the cancelation steps. The member’s Your Account page will also show your current account status, listed as Paid, Canceled, or Incomplete. Please check your account to make sure you have successfully completed cancelation and have been updated to “Canceled” status. Cancelation is automatic after successful completion of the cancelation steps.

OPTION #2: Members can email customer support at contact@theconfessionalspodcast.com to request subscription cancelation. Cancelation requests via email must be submitted at least 1 full business day prior to the next charge cycle to allow time for the request to be processed. Cancelation requests submitted after this window may be processed only after the automatic payment has been initiated.

Cancelation requests cannot be submitted via social media messages as these channels are not checked regularly and will not be used to exchange or verify personal member information. Cancelation also cannot be performed through the member app. Please note that deleting The Confessionals app from a device does NOT cancel a membership. Deleting or deactivating your app profile does NOT cancel a membership. Membership cancelation is only available via your account on the member website or by emailing contact@theconfessionalspodcast.com.

Refunds may be issued upon request by the member up to 7 days from the date of the member’s initial subscription sign-up. Cancelation of membership prior to the end of the billing period will not result in a full or partial refund.

In extenuating circumstances, The Confessionals team may also cancel memberships if deemed necessary (i.e., unauthorized content sharing, defamation, fraud, disputes, harassment, etc.). These circumstances are rare, and we will attempt to address situations should they arise before issuing cancelation.

Member questions posted to social media, sent via social media private messages or posted as a comment on the website may not be seen, and we will not exchange or verify personal member information via social media. Emailing us directly will ensure the fastest, most reliable response.
